Day of Your Treatment

- To maximize your comfort during the procedure, a topical anesthetic may be applied.
- A small amount of your blood will be drawn, similar to a routine blood test.
- Your blood will be placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components. After a heating and cooling process, the plasma forms a fibrin matrix, which is then injected into target treatment areas of the scalp.
What to Expect
- You may experience redness and tenderness at the treatment site(s) that can last a few hours to a few days.
- Bruising may occur in the treated areas.

After Your Procedure
- Sleep on your back with a clean pillowcase.
- You may take Acetaminophen/Tylenol if you experience mild tenderness or discomfort.
- Apply an ice or cold gel pack to the area(s) treated (avoiding pressure) to help reduce swelling and bruising.
