The Covid 19 pandemic has been one of the most significant events of the past century. A simple virus affected an entire globe and caused significant injury and death to so many. We all had our lives changed in a dramatic fashion. But we as a region, nation and global community have withstood the storm and are at a point that it appears that Covid-19 is at bay.
At Egrari Plastic Surgery Center we all believe in resilience and hope. We strongly feel that we have come together and have been united in this fight. We have always put the safety and well-being of our patients and our staff as our primary objective. Throughout this pandemic we have witnessed an incredible level of dedication and passion from the providers who have been on the front line of this fight. We feel that our duty was to uphold that tradition of excellence and dedication by providing an environment and a facility that will be guided by science and will do everything possible to reduce the chance of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 virus.
We do feel that time has come to relax some of the restrictions of the past few years. At this point we are going to implement the following:
- Mask will be optional in clinic and mandatory in the surgical unit
- We are opening our waiting rooms
- We will no longer test patients before every procedure
We clearly understand that the nature of such pandemic is dynamic, and we will always be following the most up to date guidelines of the scientific community.
